Frigid temperatures didn't stop snow mobiling enthusiasts from hitting the powder after the first major snowfall of the season Sunday morning.

"First thing I did when I saw there was this more snow I said dad we gotta get out there and take advantage. Who knows if it's gonna be a big winter," said Hamburg resident, Jake Fiore.

"It finally snowed, trails are open. Gotta take advantage of it when you can," said West Seneca resident, Joseph Demma.

Chestnut Ridge in Orchard Park was filled with the sounds of revving engines and the covered faces of those willing to bare the freezing temps for the thrill of their favorite winter activity.

"It's a great opportunity to hang with friends and family, bounce around to different restaurants when trails are open. Just take advantage of beautiful weather we get here," said Fiore.

Whilee others hunkered down after inches of snow covered their cars these snow lovers headed out like true Buffalonians

"The roads are kind of snotty but overall this is nothin'. I don't know what the fuss was all about this is perfect," said Fiore.
