Two priests within the Catholic Diocese of Buffalo will be returned to ministry while two others will remain on administrative leave.

Claims against Fr. Fabian Maryanski and Reverand Mark Wolski have been reviewed and substantiated, the diocese said Friday.  Both men will remain on leave while the results of the diocese’s investigation are reviewed by the Vatican in Rome.

Based on the information available at this time, claims of abuse made against Rev. Roy Herberger and Monsignor Frederick Leising have not been substantiated. Both men will return to active ministry.
