The MASH Bash will make a soaring comeback.

The Red Cross hosted the military-themed party for 20 years before announcing in 2017 that it was being decommissioned.

The event honored servicemen and women while raising funds for the organization.

The Red Cross said limited staffing prevented it from hosting the event, but now Mercy Flight is stepping in to revive it.

Mercy Flight has scheduled its first event for June 7 at Buffalo Riverworks.

“We’re there for everybody, day, night and weekends,” said Douglas Baker, Mercy Flight’s founder. “The only thing that keeps us down is weather. But we’re there for everybody regardless of insurance, cost, etc. So it is important that we have the community behind us and this gives us the road to do so again.”

Tickets for MASH Bash are expected to go on sale in January.
