Learn hoop dancing inside The Bird's Nest Circus Arts on Fillmore Avenue in Buffalo, where on Wednesday nights, you can take an intermediate class.

"It’s basically a movement centered around people who dance with hoop as a prop," Ben Berry, an instructor at the Bird’s Nest Circus Arts said.

Beginners can attend the "flow jam" on Saturday nights. It's for all levels and for any type of object manipulation.

Although Berry makes hooping look extremely easy, it really tests your core, flexibility and dexterity. His biggest piece of advice to beginners is to make sure your hoop is the right size.

If this isn't your jam, owner Ben Madoff showed off his skills learned in partner acro yoga.

"We've had people of all ages, from five years old to 75 years old try this out," Madoff said.

"We are trying to create a nurturing environment for people of all levels to experience circus arts," said Berry with a smile.
