The Blues are alive and well at Silo City in Buffalo.

Crowds gathered there Saturday for the Buffalo Niagara Blues Festival.

The event raises funds for in-school music programs offered by the Blues Society of Western New York.

"For the last 20 years, we've provided blues education in the school and community centers, in kindergarten through college,” said Blues Society of WNY President Adrienne Thompson. “We've brought blues to over 25,000 students so far."

This year's performers included the Keesha Pratt Band and Josh Paxton.
