BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Just in time to sit and ponder what you're going to do when it's warm, a new book is out highlighting the hidden gems around Buffalo and beyond. It's called '100 Things to do in Buffalo Before You Die.'
In it, you can explore food and drink, architecture, history, arts and entertainment, sports and recreation, as well as shopping. The book is written by the editor of Buffalo Spree, Elizabeth Licata. Even as a life-long resident of the Queen City, Licata herself has a few places she wants to explore.
"I have never done the Penn Dixie site," Licata said. "That seems like really fun and you can actually dig for fossils and take them away and keep them."
You can get your hands on a copy at a book launch event Sunday. It's taking place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. over at Hotel Henry.
Other events include a presentation and book signing on April 18 at 5 p.m. at Salvatores Italian Gardens.
Then on April 19, starting at 6 p.m., there will be a similar event at the Western New York Book Arts Center.
