ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Church at the Game Founder William Hein once thought: wouldn't it be great if Bills fans could go to a church service at One Bills Drive before the game?

He decided to team up with Kingdom Bound Ministries and the Bills to try out a non-denominational church service at the ADPRO Training Center to make that idea a reality.

"It's been done in one other city, Kansas City. We found out about it, the co-founder Neil Boron and I went out to Kansas City. The owner and all the people out there helped us, they even contacted the Pegulas, we put together a business plan, and now we're here," said Hein.

Scores of fans came out for the church service. Bills Hall of Fame Quarterback Jim Kelly and his wife Jill were on-hand to deliver a message to the fans.

"This is something we've been talking about for a long time. I'm so happy we're able to do this. You can either go to church before you come to the game, but if you don't have time, you can do this and this was awesome. I love it," said Jim Kelly.

And the fans who attended the service agree.

"My whole thing about coming to a game is, on Sundays, you miss church. By church being here, I'd rather do this than tailgate. This is a no brainer, for real," said Anthony Randall, Bills fan.

"This is awesome. Any struggles we might have had before, which was always a struggle, like, 'ugh, I'm missing church'. Today that cured the problem, I can do both," said Phillip Gadreau, Bills fan.

Hein says Sunday's Church at the Game was a big success. Now he says it'll be up to the Bill to determine if it'll become a Sunday gameday tradition.
