NORWICH, N.Y. -- Main Street became center court this weekend in Norwich, as the city hosted its annual Gus Macker basketball tournament, drawing thousands to the area.
Norwich has hosted the tournament for 22 years, currently the longest-running Gus Macker in New York.
Nearly 400 teams made their run for the championship.
"It's great to bring in people from all different areas, not just New York, but other states. I think it's great for the community and I know they really love it. They really do a great job of supporting it up here," said Jamey Mullen, Norwich YMCA director.
