WOODSTOCK, N.Y. -- People are teeing off during the largest fundraiser for Special Olympics of New York, Hudson Valley Region.
The 35th Annual DeLisio Memorial Golf Tournament took over the Woodstock Golf Club.
Organizers say around 100 golfers are participating throughout the day, which they say is on par of what they saw last year.
And, golfers can participate in auctions and raffles, with each one getting a prize at the end.
Organizer Teresa Gilli says out of all events, this is a hole in one.
"35 years; I've actually been with Special Olympics for 12 years and doing this event for eight, said Teresa Gill," Special Olympics director of development. "It's one of the biggest, one of the best and one of the funnest events that I've attended."
Gilli says they hope to raise $25,000. $That's 3,000 more than what they made last year.
