BUFFALO, N.Y. -- A very familiar bunny made his way to Front Park for the first ever Buffalo Renaissance Easter Egg Hunt.

Dozens of children of all ages searched the park Saturday to score prizes ranging from massive chocolate bunnies to scooters and bikes.

"We thought it was a great time of the year to get everybody out," said Anthony Jordan, Buffalo Renaissance Foundation director. "We have over 5,000 eggs out there to make sure that everybody gets lots of eggs and has lots of fun and lots of great prizes."

Jordan said after today's success he aims to make next year's bigger and better with, of course, more eggs.
