A Flushing-based window manufacturer has been cited by the Department of Labor.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration cited Crystal Window & Doors for nearly $75,000.

The company apparently did not correct safety hazards following a worker's finger amputation at their Pennsylvania facility in January.

The manufacturer was cited for eight violations, including unguarded machinery, damaged electrical equipment and trucks operated by employees without proper training.

The employer has 15 business days to respond to these complaints and meet with OSHA's area director.

A spokesperson for Crystal Window & Doors tells NY1 they have no comment at this time.
