BUFFALO, N.Y. – This year’s Make-A-Wish 28-hour radio-thon at 97 Rock came to an end Friday morning, raising over a $100,000.

Local radio legend Larry Norton came out of retirement to host the radio-thon one last time.

He hosted the show for the last 22 years, helping to raise more than $3 million during that time.

The radio-thon started Thursday morning and ended Friday at 10 a.m.

Make-A-Wish says it raised more than $112,000, which will all be put toward creating special experiences for critically ill children in Western New York.
