BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The region's first All Girls Coding Program continues at SUNY Buffalo State. AT&T teamed up with the college, WNY Stem Hub and the Girl Scouts of Western New York to host the coding program.

The camp is designed to expose the girls to a variety of STEM experiences, and engage them in computer science education.

"The reason the coding program is so signigicant is that were trying to engage young women and encourage them to pursue fields in STEM," said Kevin Hanna, AT&T external affairs regional director.

A recognition event will be held in December, during National Computer Science Education Week.
