CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. --A crash involving a tractor trailer sent two people to the hospital on Saturday.

Police say a tractor trailer was heading east on the 90 when the driver lost control of his vehicle.

The semi hit another car before crashing through a wall just off of the thruway.

A passenger in the car was taken to ECMC with minor leg injuries and the Tractor Trailer driver was taken to St. Joe's Hospital with minor arm pain.

Witnesses nearby rushed to the scene to help.

"It's an experience, it's very scary, I didn't want anything to blow up, anybody to get hurt, I thought it was going to start on fire, thank God it didn't" said August Ross a Buffalo resident.

The driver of the tractor trailer was cited for a speeding violation.
