After a year-long search, the beloved Union Square Cafe has found a new home in the neighborhood.

The dining landmark has called East 16th street home for nearly 30 years, but skyrocketing rents have forced the restaurant to relocate after their lease ends in December.

Luckily for regulars, the cafe is moving just three blocks over to a bigger space on Park Avenue South, on the corner of East 19th Street.

It will be taking over the spot currently occupied by City Crab and Seafood Company, and will absorb their employees.

The Union Square Cafe has been named Zagat's number one most popular restaurant an unprecedented nine times.
