LIVERPOOL, N.Y. -- A local company that's already experiencing big success is hoping they'll soon be able to get some national exposure.
Perfectly Pickled Products, or P3, was started by Michael Trudell just over two years ago. In that time, his line of hot pickles, pickled eggs and sausage and other items has been picked up by hundreds of retailers, including Tops, Fastrac and Nice N Easy. Now, the company is on the wait list to appear on the popular business competition show Shark Tank.
Trudell says he still can't believe how quickly the company has grown since he started it in his family's kitchen 31 months ago. "We went from selling gallons to the local bars here in the Upstate area, we went in to the local farmers market selling jars, and now we're selling pallets to distributors, I mean it's amazing," Trudell said.
Trudell says Wegmans and Price Chopper are set to join P3's list of retailers soon.
