BUFFALO, N.Y. --The atttorney for the family of the 3 year old killed when a car hit him in Delaware Park
says the family is preparing to sue the driver of the car, the City of Buffalo, and New York State.
Mark Cantor says they are working to file a civil lawsuit, and right now they are investigating and building their case.
On May 30th, Maksym Sugorovsky was killed after a car veered off the 198 into Delaware Park. The crash critically injuring his 5 year old sister Stephanie, who continues to receive medical care.
Since then the state has stepped in, lowering the speed limit along the 198 from 50 miles per hour to 30. Safety barriers have also been added.
