LOCKPORT, N.Y. -- Lockport police are looking for anyone who might have information about an early morning shooting.
Detectives said they responded to North Transit for reports of shots fired after 2 a.m. Friday.
Police said a male and a female had been shot and were taken to Eastern Niagara Hospital in Lockport. They have since been released.
North Transit road was closed between Caledonia and Green Streets for more than two hours while authorities searched the area, including a silver sedan that was on the scene.
Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting to call the confidential tip line at 716-439-6707.
