BUFFALO, N.Y. --The Gus Macker basketball tournament may bounce into the Buffalo area this year, after all.
The president of Gus Macker says he has been approached by several local groups to host a 2015 tournament in Buffalo.
He's evaluating if the groups can pull off the three-on-three tournament at the last minute.
He plans to make a decision sometime this week.
The tournament was previously held at Darien Lake and in downtown Buffalo, but sponsorship and timing issues won't allow either site to host it this year.
He expects there to be a tournament in Western New York next year regardless because the groups would have more time to prepare.
