HOPEWELL JUNCTON, N.Y. -- East Fishkill police are looking for the person and car involved in a hit and run accident in Hopewell Junction.
Police say it happened Thursday on Route 376 at Penney Lane around 4:30 in the afternoon.
They say an unknown car described as a gold colored sedan struck a woman walking on the shoulder of the roadway.
The car then fled northbound toward the hamlet of Hopewell Junction.
