Six Flags Entertainment Corporation announced new safety measures for reopening its parks across the country, including Six Flags Darien Lake in Western New York.

Previously, park guests would need to make advanced reservations to visit the park. Now, park management is releasing additional protocols.

All guests and employees will have their temperatures taken by thermal-imaging devices when they enter the park, and must wear a mask at all times unless they are under the age of two or have breathing issues.

In addition, touchless bag check technology will be used instead of physically checking guest bags.

All attractions will have limited seating to observe social distancing.

Six Flags is also coming out with a virtual queue system so guests don't have to wait as much in a physical line. At this time Six Flags Darien Lake does not have a reopening date.
