BUFFALO, N.Y. — Canisius High School is representing Buffalo in a multi-state holiday food drive competition.

It is just one out of eight Jesuit High Schools from New York state, Connecticut, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania involved in the Great Ignatian Challenge. Food collected by Canisius High School will go to St. Luke’s Mission of Mercy in Buffalo.

Each participating school can also earn COVID-19-relief funds and tuition assistance. The amount will depend on how much food is collected.

Non-perishable food can be donated at Canisius High School on school days through Friday, November 19.

The school will also host a drive-through food drop off event from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 14.
