HAMBURG, N.Y. — Spectrum News is working to learn more about reported COVID-19 cases at St. Peter & Paul School in Hamburg.

The Erie County health commissioner says there were individuals involved in two classrooms that tested positive for the virus.

"According to our guidance, if there is one person in a class and the class is meeting for over 60 minutes everybody in that class is quarantined, so they are following our recommendations out of an abundance of caution," said Erie County Commissioner of Health Gale Burstein.

Burstein says they have been successful with those guidelines.
