WYOMING COUNTY, N.Y. -- Eight people in Wyoming County were charged with selling drugs during the latest part of the sheriff's office's Operation Spring Sweep.
38-year-old Michael Case of Perry allegedly sold cocaine twice to an undercover agent.
57-year-old Johnney Shannon of Batavia and 33-year-old David Riley are both accused of selling heroin to an undercover agent.
Seven adults and an 18-year-old woman whose name won't be released due to her age were arrested during the operation, which started last year.
Deputies say the operation is meant to get addictive drugs off the streets.
