An Allegany County man is accused of sexually assaulting a child.

Wellsville Police arrested 27-year-old Jeffrey Howell, Jr. Tuesday.

He's charged with five felonies, including rape and sexual abuse.

Howell is being held in Allegany County Jail on $50,000 cash bond.

He's set to return to village court February 19.
