A Bergen maintenance shop has extensive damage after a three-alarm fire in Bergen Monday night.

Crews were called to Kaiser Wilcox Corp around 11 p.m. by the owner of the shop. When they got there they found flames coming from the back of the large building, that's when they called for backup .

It took eight fire companies from two counties nearly an hour to get the fire under control.

They say most of the fire damage is contained to the maintenance shop, but the parts section in the front of the business may be salvageable.

"He'll be able to open up, I mean there's going to be some water damage to the main portion of the building," said deputy chief Chuck Dodson, Bergen Fire Department. "The maintenance area did suffer some significant damage. unfortunately that portion of the shop will take some extensive overhaul or a rebuild, but he should be able to do some level of business here."

No one was injured. Investigators are looking into what started the fire.
