Governor Cuomo celebrated his third term inauguration on Ellis Island New Year's Day.

He spoke about 2019 priorities, and, in his own words, is looking forward to pursue the most progressive agenda yet, thanks to full Democratic control in the state legislature. On the agenda: revamping abortion rights, legalizing marijuana, voter reform and much more.

But Cuomo may find contention within his own party, such as in the case of offering adequate education funding to poorer school districts--something education advocates say the governor hasn't been tough enough on.
