TONAWANDA, N.Y. -- Pro Football Hall of Fame member Andre Reed and his foundation held a fundraising event at The Grill at The Dome on Friday to help local children.

It featured food, virtual games and prizes. Proceeds benefited the Boys and Girls Clubs of Buffalo.

Reed, the founder of the Andre Reed Foundation, says he wants to help children reach their full potential and become good citizens in their communities.

"With everything you do, you’ve got to have people that are behind you,” said Reed. “To come back here and have this thing benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs here in Buffalo is very important to me.

“It makes me feel good about what I am doing."

The Andre Reed Foundation was established in 2010. Reed is the Buffalo Bills’ all-time leader in receptions and receiving yards.
