Syracuse has lost back-to-back, non-conference games inside the Carrier Dome for the first time since 1975 as they fell to the Buffalo Bulls 71-59 on Tuesday night.

The Orange, who now drop to 7-4 on the season, led at halftime 36-32. The Bulls outscored Syracuse in the second half 39-23.

Syracuse was led by Elijah Hughes, who scored 16 points. Frank Howard scored 13 points for the Orange on 5-13 shooting.

The Bulls were led by CJ Massinburg, who led all scorers with 25 points. Jeremy Harris scored 18 points as well.

It’s the first time Buffalo has beaten the Orange since 1963. Next up for the Orange is Arkansas State on Saturday.
