A young Binghamton Devils fan is being showered with gratitude.

Last weekend, the team was on the road when the Southern Tier was hit with nearly a foot of snow. Logan Vest of Chenango Valley cleared off the snow covering almost 20 cars, with the help of his dad, Jared Vest.

Eight-year-old Landon was listening to the B-Devils broadcast, while the team was in Cleveland, Ohio.

"I heard there was snow on the Binghamton Devils cars and then I wanted to go there and so I asked," said Landon.

Radio play-by-play man Rob Lippolis jokingly suggested on the air that someone go clean off their cars that had been snowed in. And well, Landon was happy to help.

"I mean I thought I had a ticket actually under my windshield wiper. But it was the note and I had remembered I had said that jokingly on the air," said Rob Lippolis.

Through social media, the Devils tracked Landon and his dad down. At Friday night's game, he'll receive VIP treatment.

But Landon didn't do it to get anything out of it.

"For an eight-year-old to do something like that, not expecting to get anything in return, it's something cool you don't really see too much these days," said Lippolis.

During Friday night's game in Binghamton, Landon is expected to meet the coaching staff and players, get front row seats with his family, and even a Zamboni ride during the first period intermission.

The Devils will play the Hershey Bears.
