The Children's Charity of Greater Binghamton dedicated the annual Recreation Park Easter egg hunt to Harper Stantz. Stantz's father says the 16-year-old loved the park and played tennis there often.

Hundreds of volunteers helped stuff 30,000 plastic eggs for the children to find, including the Stantz family. They appreciate all of the support from the community during such a difficult time.

"It's just overwhelming the amount of love we felt since the accident," said Marty Stantz, Harper's father. "The community has just lifted us up at our lowest point. So, all these people today is just icing on the cake, how wonderful this community can be when people are feeling awful."

This is the 7th annual Easter egg hunt at the park.
