Guthrie Hospital will soon be expanding patient services in Ithaca.

Plans are in the works to build a new state of the art mixed-use property building at the Johnson Boatyard and Marina.  The building will be at 101 Pier Road. The medical office building will be a three story, 60,000 square foot medical office building with various clinical services.

Guthrie will keep their current office on Hanshaw Road.

“We’ve been up here for at least 25 years providing services both primary care and specialty services to this area and to the community, so it’s really a critical aspect in a community to the Guthrie organization," said Operations and Regional Development Vice President Tom Collins. "It’s a great area; we have great physicians and really great opportunity for us to continue to serve the community here.”

Construction could get underway as soon as next year.
