WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. -- Excitement was in the air as fans watched the Nascar Cup Series race.

The drivers completed dozens of laps, or about 220 miles.

One family comes together from different states every year just to see the race. And Sunday marked their 20th year.

They say it's one family tradition that will continue forever.

"I go to football games, baseball games, hockey games," said Chad Frankenfield, a Pennsylvania resident. "The sounds, the smells, the feeling, you see the drivers going by at 150 mph. There's nothing like the party atmosphere. We've been here since 9 a.m. this morning. There's just no experience like going to a race."

The Glen has been hosting races for more than 60 years.
