A Broome County woman is accused in the death of her daughter.

30-year-old Serina Madden of Colesville was indicted on charges of second degree murder, first degree manslaughter and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

Her 10-year-old daughter, BellaDonna Loke was found dead in her bedroom on East Windsor Road, back in February. According to police, the girl was deceased on Saturday, February 17th and found in her bedroom the next day by the owner of the Colesville home.

The owner is a relative of Madden, who had just moved to Broome County from Georgia in December.

Madden is accused of severe neglect, including malnutrition, starvation and lack of medical care, which is believed to have caused the girl's death.

The second endangering charge is related to a nine-year-old boy, who was also in the home. The indictment alleges this activity was happening for about one month.

No future date of a court appearance for Serina Madden has been set.
