Three suspects are still on the loose following a shooting in Central Square.

It happened around 8:30 p.m. Monday in an apartment on Fulton Avenue. A 25-year-old old man was shot in the head, and rushed to the hospital, but he is expected to survive.

Police say this attack was not random, and the victim was likely targeted because of drugs. State Police are looking for three suspects: two men and a woman who should be considered armed and dangerous.

Spectrum News spoke with a neighbor who just moved into one of the apartments about a month ago. He says there were no signs of a break in or arguments leading up to the shooting.

“It’s not really a good sight when my buddy comes and bangs on the door and you have a gunshot to your head,” said Central Square resident Michael Meyer. “It usually don’t happen around here.”

Anyone with information should call state police at 315-366-6000.
