The sister of the man accused of killing his ex-wife in Corning has pleaded not guilty to witness tampering.

Wendy Bonilla was arraigned Monday. She is accused of conspiring with her brother, Lloyd Neurauter, in an attempt to influence the testimony of his daughter, Karrie.

Lloyd Neurauter is facing multiple charges, including first-degree murder for the death of his ex-wife Michele. Karrie Neurauter pleaded guilty to second degree murder and agreed to testify against her father.

"The bribery was giving her access to a free lawyer -- not free, but a very expensive lawyer they were going to pay for -- trying to get her to change her testimony and her plea in the murder case to benefit Lloyd," said Steuben County District Attorney Brooks Baker.

A temporary order of protection was issued on behalf of Neurauter's three children.
