New Yorkers have until 20-20 to comply with the federal government's Real ID Act--

It's post 9-11 legislation designed to amp up driver's license legitimacy, and increase security nationwide.

This has been in the works for year now.

But some local officials are concerned that the state has not done enough to inform the public, and now with a deadline looming, D-M-Vs are bearing the brunt as people try to get in under the wire.
