Sports Authority will be closing 140 stores nationwide after the sporting goods chain announced Wednesday they've filed for bankruptcy.
Officials disclosed in January that the company had missed a $20 million debt payment.
The store closings will take place over the next three months, but which stores are impacted was not released.
Sports Authority was at one time the largest sporting goods retailer.
