ST. LOUIS – Drivers who use Route 67 north of I-64 will need to allow themselves extra time and use alternate routes as the roadway is now closed in both directions.

Crews closed the bridge over Deer Creek, just south of German Boulevard/Conway Road, starting at 5 a.m. Tuesday, May 27, to replace the bridge. The bridge is expected to remain closed through late July.

"Drivers heading north will be able to enter the Honda of Frontenac through a break in the center barrier, and drivers heading south will be able to access the gas station just north of Deer Creek and exit the businesses near Forshaw through a break in the center barrier just north of the bridge construction," MoDOT said.

The marked detour around the bridge closure is to use I-64, Interstate 170, Route 340 and Lindbergh.

Information about this closure can be found here.
