Skies will be mostly cloudy to start with the chance for showers and storms increasing by the afternoon. Some of the storms could become strong to severe. The primary hazards would be coin-size hail, frequent lightning and heavy rainfall. Some spots could receive 1 to 2"+ of rain.

Temperatures will start out in the lower 70s, with afternoon highs warming back into the upper 80s for inland areas while the east coast will reach the mid-80s.
