The Chita Rivera Awards on May 19 will bring together some of the biggest names in the theater and film industry.

The awards recognize dance and choreographic excellence on Broadway, Off-Broadway and film.

The ceremony will honor Ben Vereen this year with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Vereen is known for starring in performances like Pippin, Hair, Jesus Christ Superstar, Fosse, and Wicked.
