ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Thirty of the best freestyle motocross, BMX, scooter and inline athletes from around the world were in Rochester for "Nitro Circus Live."
The show has been around the globe, making stops in five continents. It's performers are world-class athletes, including some who are multiple X Games medalists, who perform the most daring tricks in action sports. There's dirt bikes, BMX, rollerblades, trikes, tall bikes and even scooters.
Todd Meyn is a pro BMX rider from Australia who now lives in the United States. He started riding when he was 10 years old and he's been on-tour with Nitro for five years. He's has done tricks like a 1080 no hander and a front flip superman.
"In the show one of the specialty tricks that I do is a double front flip no-hander," said Meyn. "So, we do down this 40 foot ramp and the lips about eight feet tall with a 40-foot gap and I do two front flips and take my hands off and then most of the time land it and roll away. We do stuff that no one in the world can do."
Meyn's mantra is "if you're not crashing, you are not learning."
