Austin residents beat the heat for a sweet treat at 11th annual Ice Cream Festival

AUSTIN, Texas -- If you're looking to cool off today, why not head to the Austin Ice Cream Festival for some sweet treats.

This is the festival's 11th year and includes a whole list of festivities for all ages.

If you decide to head on over to Fiesta Gardens from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., you can enjoy plenty of tastings and other activities celebrating America's favorite frozen treat.

Tickets are still available and cost $15; children that are 8 years old and under are free. 

Participating vendors include, H-E-B Creamy Creations, Central Market Small Batch Craft Ice Cream, Amy's Ice Creams, Dippin' Dots, and more.
