The Grand Concourse turns into a sea of Dominican colors, as revelers celebrate the Dominican Day Parade.
The fiesta kicked off at Tremont Avenue and made its way to 167th Street in the Bronx.
This year over 9,000 people marched with about 40 floats.
Marchers say it is an event they look forward to every year.
"We're representing who we are and where we come from in the United States of America, which is amazing to me," said one. "And I love wearing red, white, and blue. It's just amazing, it's an amazing feeling walking out there having everybody yelling, the Dominican music."
"A lot of people from other countries all over the world can come here and see the parade," said another. "This is the largest parade I've ever been to. I see that it's almost 15 to 20 blocks and I'm scared to be walking all day."
The parade wrapped up with a festival on East 173rd street and Clay Avenue.
