AUSTIN, Texas — Another day, another list Austin finds a place on — This one’s extra cheesy.
It’s National Mac and Cheese Day and Travel Pulse says Austin is among the “9 Best US Cities To Celebrate Mac and Cheese Day.”
Don’t ask us why they decided to pick only 9 or why none of the 9 are actually ranked — your guess is as good as ours.
But we’ll take any opportunity to get our brag on.
The travel site mentions Parkside’s “gruyere and cheddar masterpiece,” with honorable mention of Pluckers as well as Roaring Fork’s green chili mac.
We personally love Workhorse Bar's side of mac, Moonshine Patio Bar & Grill's is also out of this world, and if you're catching a movie at the Alamo Drafthouse, their green chili mac doesn't mess around, either.
