SPECTRUM NEWS VIDEO: Chestnut Ridge developer Shalom Lamm has pleaded guilty to election fraud for trying to impact the Bloomingburg election in 2014. This is in connection with a case involving the Chestnut Ridge Housing Project in Bloomingburg, which received local opposition the year before, halting construction. The U.S. District Attorney said Lamm, along with fellow-developer Kenneth Nakdimen and business associate Volvy Smilowitz, falsely registered and bribed voters who would elect public officials who were in favor of the housing project. Last month, Nakdimen also pleaded guilty in the case. Lamm faces up to five years in prison when he's sentenced in September.
