SAN ANTONIO - After a case of tuberculosis was reported at Page Middle School earlier this week, a meeting was held at the school to address any parent questions or concerns on Thursday night.
Metro Health is working with the district to identify and test anyone who might have been exposed.

"It's not easy to get exposed to tuberculosis. You have to spend at least 6 hours per week for a prolonged period of time with that person who's infectious in order to run the risk of getting TB," said Carol Schliesinger, Metro Health spokesperson.
Metro Health is only testing those individuals who meet the criteria for potential exposure.
If you're concerned and would like to get tested, reach out to your health care provider.
