The Bayonne Bridge you used to drive over is now a thing of the past.
The Port Authority has released this time lapse video of demolition workers tearing down the bridge's original roadway.
The dismantling is expected to be complete six months ahead of schedule.
Steel from the bridge is set to be recycled. The Port Authority says it could even be used one day to build a new bridge.
The bridge is being raised to allow larger container ships to pass underneath.
Officials say those larger ships could start moving through the area as early as this summer.
