JAMESTOWN, N.Y. -- The Lucy-Desi Center for Comedy recently announced comedians Kevin James and Robert Klein will perform in Jamestown this summer, joining headliner Jim Gaffigan for the annual Lucille Ball Comedy Festival in August.
Festival leaders say the four-day event draws fans from all over the world and offers a little something for everyone. Dozens of events are planned, including Lucy town tours, late-night comedy shows, and Desi's 100th birthday bash. In addition, the festival continues to generate millions of dollars to the local economy.
"Our reputation is now at the level where we're clearly a part of the comedy festival world," said National Comedy Center Chairman Tom Benson. "We've been successful, and we owe that success to the people who get excited about this, buy tickets and show up."
The festival runs August 3 through 6.
