SAN ANTONIO - It was a mad dash in search of Easter treats Saturday morning as folks celebrated the Easter weekend holiday with a traditional egg hunt at Morgan’s Wonderland.

Little guests scoured the park looking for hidden candy.

In addition to Easter, the park is also celebrating a special milestone. April 10 marked their seventh anniversary of Morgan's Wonderland – the world’s first theme park designed for people with different abilities.

“At Christmas, I met a beautiful couple, with their little 6-year-old - Isabella, from England. And, they had come just to see the park. They came here and they were here for Christmas. I mean, you kind of forget, like just going to work on a regular day, but then, there’s people that have dreamt about making it here for years and they finally come. I mean, that’s what makes it all worthwhile,” said Dominic Fournier, assistant general manager at Morgan's Wonderland.

Morgan’s Wonderland is getting bigger. The park will expand more than three acres with a new water park - Morgan’s Inspiration Island.

The expansion opens this summer.
